2010 Cabernet Sauvignon
Tasting Notes: Rich with coffee and freeze-dried blueberries in the nose. The mid-palate brings chocolate and a sweet crème’ brulee with maybe a bit more coffee. The finish is long and enjoyable as a big Cabernet should be. The color is dark and the extra aging in oak concentrates the flavors to be a satisfying bold wine.
Food Pairings: This Cab is a classic, well-made wine that and makes blue cheese and ribeye steak come to mind. The smoothness of the tannins allow this wine to be sipped and enjoyed on its own – with a good cigar.
