2013 Cabernet Sauvignon
Tasting Notes: The nose is all about ripe blackberry jam with a whiff of pencil wood and tar. Enjoy deep color, and big body wine. Ripe black fruit with a soft tannin mouthfeel. Mid to back palate has a pleasant drying note of cranberry finishing with black coffee and tannins. This wine needs aeration to open up.
Food Pairings: This Cab is a classic, well-made wine that and makes blue cheese and ribeye steak come to mind. The smoothness of the tannins allow this wine to be sipped and enjoyed on its own.
