Tasting Notes:   Full bodied with sweet acidity characters.  The nose is blueberry cobbler – cooked blueberries with a buttery, sugar crust.    The palate delivers on a warm brown sugar or caramel note with sweet ripe blueberry.  The flavors expand and continue into a rich and lengthy finish of a dark cocoa and spicy black pepper.  Smooth and silky, finish.   This is the Syrah we hope for every harvest.

Suggestive Food Pairings:  We want to enjoy this wine with any rich meat that is combined with creamy cheeses.   This wine will also be the star with an Italian or Spanish-themed charcuterie plate.  Salami and spicy cured meats and rich oily cheese such as Manchego or marinated goat cheese.
