2013 Tempranillo
Tasting Notes: The nose hints at smokey bacon leading to dried black cherry and a final experience of sweet caramel. Its even better in the mouth with baking spice and licorice with a hint of asphalt and sweet caramel. The mouth feel is soft and fruit luscious with rich body and strong tannin structure. A lingering pleasant finish and a rich dark garnet color.
Food Pairings: Pair with grilled or braised rich meats or creamy pasta sauces and dishes. Gamier meats such as lamb or duck would do well with the bright cherry notes.
