2016 Grenache
Tasting Notes: The nose is bright and delivers the juicy fruit of watermelon and strawberry with floral sweet caramel at the end. The mouthfeel is very light bodied with dried cherry and big tannin structure. This Grenache is lean and not jammy in the mouth. Good chilled as a light and bright summer red.
Food Pairings: We like to serve this with cheeses like Mancheco or Parmesan (dry, aged). It is good with spicy chili notes such as an enchilada and jalapeno. We are enjoying pairing it with all our favorite foods, Mexican, pizza and charcuterie boards. Cheeses, meats and spice.
